V4 Pedestrian Crossings: Have your say to create a safe crossing

The Western Expansion Area (WEA) is situated between Crownhill and Stony Stratford. Once complete it will include 6,550 new homes, employment land, green open spaces and parks, a main street with retail and leisure units and schools.  Pedestrians and cyclists will need a safe crossing point across the V4 grid road in and out of the WEA.MK Council has appointed 2020 Consultancy to manage a public consultation on this crossing. To have your say on your preferred option, please complete the questionnaire.

There will also be public drop in sessions events held at The Safety Centre, 18 Carters Lane, Kiln Farm, MK11 3ES for anyone who wishes to ask questions or find out more about the available options.

These drop in session will be held on:

  • Saturday          10 June 2017       10.00 am to 2.00 pm 
  • Wednesday      14 June 2017        4.00 pm to 8.00 pm

The consultation period will end at 5pm Friday 23 June 2017.

2020 Consultancy will then carry out a detailed review of all the comments received and produce a summary feedback report that will be made available to all on the Council’s website.

Thank you to all that attended the Plan MK workshop on Tuesday 9 May at Works for Us. It was a great opportunity to hear your views about the proposed plans for MK.

V4 Watling Street Pedestrian Crossing
22/05/2017 – 23/06/2017There are three possible options suitable for the chosen location of a pedestrian crossing – a footbridge, an underpass or a signalised crossing i.e. pelican.

Proposal to expand the number of places available in Year 3 at St Mary and St Giles CofE School

Milton Keynes Council, in conjunction with the Governing Body and Trustees of the school, intends to make a prescribed alteration to St Mary and St Giles CofE School with effect from 1 September 2018.
