Celebrating 10 Fantastic Years of Kidz to Adultz Middle

Thursday 21st March 2019, 9.30am – 4.30pm

Disabled Living (organisers of the Kidz to Adultz events) is extremely proud to be celebrating 10 years of Kidz to Adultz Middle. This exhibition in Coventry was established to ensure our Kidz to Adultz events were accessible to those in the Midlands, Nottingham, Leicestershire, East Anglia and further afield. In that time we have welcomed over 22,476 visitors through the door. Collectively the Kidz to Adultz events are the largest exhibitions in the UK totally dedicated to children and young adults up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs, their families, carers and all of the professionals who support them. This year, with the support of the Ricoh Arena all visitors attending the event will have a chance of winning a fantastic prize worth over £900!

Online Training Courses with Disabled Living

Why E-Learning?

Disabled Living has launched its E-Learning offering.

The debate surrounding e-learning rumbles on, with pros and cons on either side. The fact is both face to face and e-learning have their place. Here are some of the benefits to using  e-learning  to enhance knowledge and performance.

  • E-learning allows flexibility when learning; A definite plus when trying to work and manage a family and social life.
  • By studying the same online course, facilitation of the course is consistent with no room for personalities to interfere in the classroom as a distraction.
  • When lots of information needs to be passed on it is good that to go back and watch the course again without any pressure to ‘keep up’. Learning at ones own pace enables staff to motivate themselves to study with the ability to start over if needed.
  • E-learning is cost efficient, people can learn at home, or work so reducing travel costs and in turn environmental costs.
