Cyber Protect Awareness Workshop

The Thames Valley Police Cyber Security Advisor will be providing two short Cyber Protect awareness sessions in October 2019 for Community Action MK in order to empower their own local voluntary and community sector groups to speak with confidence within their immediate communities of the current cyber threats that the general public may experience.

Pioneering local councils join a collaborative network to tackle social problems
Twenty councils have joined a new collaborative network to support local government innovators across England and Wales. Nesta and their partner Collaborate CIC have formed the Upstream Collaborative to learn from, share, accelerate new ways of working being pioneered by its members to tackle the underlying causes of social problems.

Lonely by Not Alone Campaign
Lots of young people feel lonely, but only a quarter of us are confident talking about it and less than a third would be comfortable asking for help if we needed it
A group of us aged 11 to 22 years old created ‘We are lonely, but not alone’ to show that any young person can feel lonely, but everybody can help. Join us by wearing yellow socks and posting your pictures and films online using #LonelyNotAlone.
