The Charity Digital Code of Practice has launched a COVID-19 digital checklist to support charity leaders during this difficult time. The checklist is split into 7 categories which include remote working, fundraising and governance.

Carers week: 8 -14 June 2020
What will you do to recognise, support and celebrate carers of all ages? Encourage the carers you support and those you work in partnership with to make a pledge of support for Carers Week, these will be displayed on the pledge wall – pledges of support from organisations, politicians, carers and many more.

MK Money Lifeline, an established debt advice service in Milton Keynes has just launched a new service called MK Signposting, in response to the Covid-19 situation.   The Service aims to help those who have  been affected financially by Covid-19, but have no idea where to get help from.  Read more

Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes (BLMK) NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have launched a public survey to enable people across all three areas to share their experiences of local healthcare services during the coronavirus pandemic. Read more
Astwoodand Hardmead Draft Neighbourhood Plan Consultation
Astwood and Hardmead Parish Council are consulting on the pre-submission draft of their Neighbourhood Plan for 6 weeks from Monday 1 June to Monday 13 July 2020 inclusive.

United Way UK – Give Local COVID-19 Response Grants
One-off grants for small local charities carrying out coronavirus/COVID-19 relief measures in support of vulnerable communities across the UK.

Rosa – COVID-19 Response Fund 
Rosa’s Covid-19 Response Fund (Small Grants) is now open and will provide grants of up to £10,000 for specialist women’s organisations across the UK.

Asda Foundation – COVID-19 Grants
Healthy Holiday Grants: Available to support charitable groups that typically would be holding summer holiday activities to ensure vulnerable children are provided with a hot meal.
Hygiene Grants: Available for care homes, hospices, hospitals and homeless shelters supporting residents/patients in facilities in the UK, who are struggling and unable to provide their own toiletries.
COVID-19 Loan Fund Expanded & Improved
The Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund has been expanded and improved to make more loans to charities and social enterprises affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
