Coming to a Diabetes UK Milton Keynes meeting What you need to know So that they can keep everyone who attends their local group meeting as safe as possible, please follow the important guidance below.
If you have any COVID symptoms (including those of any variants), have had a recent positive test for COVID, or are living with someone who has been asked to self-isolate due to a positive test result, please do not come to the meeting and follow government advice.
Diabetes UK Milton Keynes would encourage you to scan into the meeting using the NHS app and any QR codes that are at their meeting venue.
If you wish to wear a mask during the meeting, please do so. They may have a supply of disposable face masks and some hand sanitiser at the venue, but would encourage you to bring these items with you.
Diabetes UK Milton Keynes know that wearing masks keeps people safe but doing so is your own personal choice. The room may or may not be set up with any distancing between seats as standard. They recognise that individuals may prefer some space between them and so we will accommodate this where possible.
Please ensure that you follow the current government guidance in your local area as these may change from region to region.
Diabetes UK Milton Keynes have done as much as possible to make their meetings a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, but they know that people’s attitudes to risk and personal choice will be different.
They won’t be asking for people’s COVID vaccination status as part of attending any meetings. If you have previously been identified as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) you may wish to take all of this into consideration when thinking about attending a meeting.
