We have our own fundraising event planned for next Saturday please come along and support us. You will experience a wonderful garden as well as the chance to eat lots of nice cakes.
Everyone is welcome to take tea/coffee and cake whilst admiring this magnificent AWARD WINNING garden. Feel free to wander around or simply sit, relax and take it all in. There will be a small selection of plants on sale and all proceeds raised will go to MK Centre for Integrated Living a charity organisation supporting people with a disability, their families and carers.

Theresa Brierley is coming with an entertaining talk about her time at RADA and her career in theatre.
Sunday October 19th
MK Fun Run. The annual event at Willen Lake starts at 11a.m. Most of us will walk, though some might run, the 5K round the lake. If you cannot take part yourself please sponsor us & cheer us on in raising funds for the Macular Society. Halve the cost of enrolling for Fun Run with 2 for 1 code: MAC 241

Healthwatch Health & Social Care Event
Annual MK Macular Society Group Awareness stand. Helpers needed for this all day event which has a real buzz.

On Armistice Day we welcome a representative from Blind Veterans UK (formerly St Dunstan’s) to tell us about the organisation, its work and the support it offers today to all ex-service people.
Tuesday 9 December
AGM followed by our Christmas social meeting with delicious seasonal refreshments, Hazel’s quiz & a raffle.

Milton Keynes CIL Annual General Meeting
Wednesday 8th October 2014 at the Guildhall 2.00pm-4.00pm
The event takes place on Wednesday 8th October 2014at the Guildhall, The Church of Christ the Cornerstone, 330 Saxon Gate West, Milton Keynes, MK9 2ES. We would like to welcome you from 1.30pm for light refreshments and the formal meeting will begin at 2pm.
The AGM will give us the opportunity to share with you the successes and challenges of the past year and to discuss with you our plans for the future. We will also give you the opportunity to ask questions to members of the Board.
To help us with our planning of this event, you may wish to confirm your attendance, you can do that via email at info@mkcil.org.uk or call us on 01908 231344. This will help us with our seating and catering arrangements, therefore please can you send the following information

Would you like to have a table and raise money for your groups/charity, do you have something to sell, ie crafts, cakes, charity items, or do you want to run a fun activity, guess the name of the bear, number of sweets in a jar, lucky dip or any other fun idea.
