Supporting Disabled People into Leadership Roles

The Equality Council UK are proud to be announcing the Disability Leadership Programme Summer School.

The DLP Summer School is a FREE four week programme aimed to tackle the under representation of disabled people on decision making bodies.

This project has been made possible by a grant from Peoples Postcode Trust, a grant-giving charity, funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The course will cover skills such as Public Speaking and confidence building as well as ways to deal with confrontation, conflict and stress. Following on from the course, attendees will be supported to apply for positions on boards and for their first few months attending.
