    Laura Knight, A Panoramic View

    Laura Knight, A Panoramic View will present an in-depth look at the career of Laura Knight, spanning her entire life. A pioneering painter of women, war and marginalised people Knight had a long and successful career that saw her travel the world and break conventions. She became the first woman elected to full membership of the Royal Academy in 1936 and was the first female artist to be appointed Dame of the British Empire.
     
    The exhibition will bring together over 100 works from public and private collections, including iconic pieces, rarely seen paintings, graphic works and designs for ceramics, jewellery and costume.
